In the Départemental 1 single poule, the Entente Montchanin-Le Breuil alliance hosted Chagny’s second team in Montchanin. The home side fell 8-10 in a tightly contested match. Following the defeat, the team sits tied for seventh place in the eight-team standings with two points. Laurent led the scoresheet for the hosts with three points, while Yoann contributed two points, including two individual performance wins. Dominique and Alain each added one point and one performance win apiece, and the duo of Yoann and Dominique secured the team’s lone doubles point.

In Départemental 2, Poule 2, Le Breuil’s second team endured a difficult away fixture against Montceau-Les-Mines 1, losing 17-1. The heavy setback leaves Le Breuil 2 tied for sixth place in the eight-team table with two points. Didier managed to salvage the single point for the visitors during the lopsided encounter.

Meanwhile, in Départemental 2, Poule 1, Le Breuil’s third team traveled to face Gueugnon 2. The hosts claimed a 12-6 victory. Le Breuil 3 currently shares seventh place in the standings with two points. Arnaud paced the team with three points, Rémy chipped in two points, and the pairing of Arnaud and Rémy combined to capture the doubles point.

The departmental championship action resumes on Saturday, October 17. The Entente Montchanin-Le Breuil D1 squad travels to face UPCV 6 at Le Creusot for a 2 p.m. local time fixture. In Départemental 2, Le Breuil 2 visits Charnay 3, while Le Breuil 3 travels to take on Charnay 4.
