Flick dismisses referee talk and praises rival manager José Mourinho
Entering the first Clásico of the season, Barcelona holds an opportunity to stretch their La Liga advantage to nine points over Real Madrid. Despite the high stakes, Flick maintained a calm demeanor, deliberately steering clear of pre-match tension.
The manager extended praise toward Real Madrid boss José Mourinho, noting a mutual atmosphere of respect between the benches.

Defensive shortages force Squad rotation as Koundé and Olmo miss out
Squad selection for Barcelona faces complications due to injuries. Jules Koundé and Dani Olmo are unavailable for the match. «Jules (Koundé) no estará mañana, no queremos arriesgar.
The absence of Koundé leaves the defensive line stretched, opening a potential path into the starting eleven for young academy product Xavi Espart following his performance against Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes.
Addressing Real Madrid set-piece threats and defensive structure
To counteract those threats, the German manager emphasized precise spatial positioning both in possession and without it, noting the performance of young defenders Pau Cubarsí and Gerard Martín.
Learning from Paris and welcoming Rodri back to midfield
The fixture arrives on the heels of Barcelona’s first defeat of the campaign in Paris. Será una oportunidad para seguir creciendo», he stated.
Midfielder Rodri returns to anchor the team alongside Pedri, offering a boost to the squad’s central control.
