Erlantz Tejada Returns to the Ring in Ormaiztegi on November 7

WBA Ibero-American welterweight champion Erlantz Tejada will make his ring return on Saturday, November 7, at 20:00 local time (UTC+1) at the Zubipe pediment in Ormaiztegi. The undefeated Basque fighter carries an 8-0 record with four knockouts into the headline fixture, opening his competitive season at a venue that annually hosts boxing cards ahead of the San Andrés patron saint festivities.

Tejada, who fights out of the Abusu neighborhood, earned recognition from the specialized publication Espabox as the top-performing debutant boxer of 2025. In July, he secured the belt by defeating Rodrigo Caraballo (11-3, 8 KO) in Ordizia. While organizers have locked in the date and venue for his return, his six-round opponent has not yet been announced, according to Espabox.

Six Neo-Professional Titles and Undercard Lineup at Zubipe

The November 7 fight card follows a busy autumn schedule for the Goierri region. Just a month prior, Ormaiztegi hosted an event featuring five neo-professional Euskadi championships. The upcoming autumn program features six Euskadi neo-professional championship bouts, six amateur boxing contests, and two Golden-category K1 fights.

In the evening’s co-main event, Ayoub El Mzlazi will put his Euskadi neo-professional 75kg title on the line against Ordizia boxer Andoni Kortabarria. Representatives from the Gasteiz Sport club indicate that this defense could mark one of El Mzlazi’s final appearances in the amateur ranks before transitioning to professional boxing.

Tickets Available at Local Businesses in Ormaiztegi and Beasain

Fans looking to attend the event at the Zubipe pediment can purchase advance tickets at two local businesses: the María Eugenia Lasa grocery store in Ormaiztegi and the Alondra hair salon in neighboring Beasain.
