Infrastructure Impact on Regional Sports
The success of these events was supported by the recent inauguration of the new Albergue Deportivo in Alto Hospicio. Municipal officials indicated that the facility provided essential housing for visiting delegations, demonstrating the utility of the commune’s recent investments in sports infrastructure. The project was backed by Mayor Patricio Ferreira and the Cuerpo de Concejales to foster athletic pathways for youth.
The organization of the national ranking stage was a collaborative effort between the Club Saetas del Desierto and the Municipalidad de Alto Hospicio. Roberto Guardia, the delegate from the Comité Olímpico de Chile, received recognition for his role in supporting the growth of archery in the region. The event organizers noted that the turnout and the quality of the facilities confirmed that Alto Hospicio possesses the necessary infrastructure and leadership to host large-scale national sporting events.
