The visiting side arrived at the decisive fixture holding a commanding 34-point advantage following a 100-66 victory in the first leg played in Salamanca. While the return match tested the champions early, Recoletas Salud Salamanca weathered a challenge from the Valladolid-based hosts to secure the trophy.
Early Stalemate Gives Way to Visitors’ Surge
Baloncesto La Flecha opened the match with aggressive intent, needing an immediate offensive explosion to overturn the first-leg deficit. The hosts pushed the pace through the opening ten minutes, trading baskets until the first quarter ended locked at 19-19.
The momentum shifted decisively before halftime. Recoletas Salud Salamanca found consistent scoring lanes, outscoring the hosts 29-21 in the second period to build a 48-40 advantage by the intermission.
La Flecha Threat Fails to Overturn Aggregate Deficit
Following the break, Baloncesto La Flecha mounted its strongest run of the contest. The local side elevated its offensive production, taking the third quarter 29-23 and narrowing the scoreline on the night to 71-69 heading into the final period.
