Unlike the morning tournament, this competition grouped male and female competitors within the same modality without splitting divisions, raising the competitive stakes for the event’s signature grand prize: a three-kilogram Montelarreina Reny Picot cured sheep’s cheese for the winner of each modality.
Municipal officials attended the afternoon proceedings to oversee awards, with Sports Councilor Manuel Alesander Alonso present at the training facility to distribute prizes and thank visiting delegations for traveling to Zamora.
