The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have expanded their commercial operations by naming NetApp an official partner, joining a growing roster of technology agreements across the National Football League, according to joint announcements from both organizations.
The agreement was finalized following the Buccaneers’ regular-season opening game against the Cincinnati Bengals on September 13, 2026. Under the terms of the sponsorship, the franchise will utilize NetApp’s intelligent data infrastructure to manage day-to-day operations and improve fan experiences at Raymond James Stadium.
“NetApp will serve as a trusted technology partner that will help us elevate the customer experience for all Buccaneers fans,” said Buccaneers Chief Commercial Officer Atul Khosla in a statement released by Business Wire. “Reliable and secure access to data plays an essential role in the overall game day experience at Raymond James Stadium. NetApp’s industry-leading intelligent data infrastructure will help us deliver a more seamless and connected experience for our Krewe at games and across the digital platforms that we use.”
Expanding the NFL Data Infrastructure Partnership
This team-level agreement builds directly upon NetApp’s existing enterprise-wide relationship with the National Football League, where the company serves as the league’s Official Intelligent Data Infrastructure Partner. Across the organization, the technology supports complex workloads, including the secure storage and rapid retrieval of game day video utilized by league and club football operations departments.
By leveraging NetApp Keystone—a subscription-based service model designed for fluctuating business demands—the franchise can scale data workloads across hybrid cloud environments and local data centers. According to technical specifications provided by the company, the platform features built-in security protocols capable of autonomously identifying threats and executing rapid data recovery.
“Successful teams achieve meaningful results long before game day by bringing together the right people, trusted data, sound decisions, and disciplined execution,” said Gabie Boko, Chief Marketing Officer at NetApp. “Elite sports show what organizations can accomplish when their people can turn information into confident action.”
Stakes and Operational Impact for the Franchise
For the Buccaneers, who are currently competing in their 51st season within the NFC South division, data management underpins both front-office logistics and consumer-facing digital applications. The organization has regularly scored high marks in league-wide fan engagement metrics, securing 12 consecutive top rankings in overall customer satisfaction in the NFL’s annual Voice of the Fan survey.

Next Steps on the Field
The Buccaneers continue their 2026 campaign with upcoming preparations for their next scheduled matchup on the league calendar.
