Malmö FF has reinforced its squad ahead of the final stretch of the season by completing the permanent transfer of forward Mayckel Lahdo from Dutch club AZ, according to club announcements. The 23-year-old winger has signed a contract that runs through August 2030, marking his official return to Allsvenskan football after departing Hammarby for the Eredivisie in 2022.

He noted that he already knows Philip Berglund and understands the sporting director’s vision for squad construction and style of play. “I have also had good conversations with the coaching team and got a clear picture of what they want with the team and how they view my role,” Lahdo added.
