Coahuila Governor Manolo Jiménez Salinas attended the opening ceremonies and participant draw on Thursday evening, thanking the international governing body for placing its confidence in the region to host the global showcase.

Compound and Recurve Medal Results
Competition opened on Saturday with the compound divisions. Local competitor Dafne Quintero captured a silver medal for Coahuila in the women’s compound bracket after dropping a close final match against the United States competitor Alexis Ruiz, while Colombia’s Sara López secured the bronze medal.
In the men’s compound division, Austria’s Nico Wiener took the gold medal. Mathias Fullerthon of Denmark earned the silver medal, and Mexico’s Rodrigo González de Alba rounded out the podium with the bronze medal.
