After conceding an early goal, the Rotterdam side completely overturned the match, driven by a pair of goals from Tori DellaPeruta and subsequent strikes from substitutes Kirsten van de Westeringh and Fleur Stoit.
The encounter did not begin according to plan for the hosts. Just five minutes into the contest, the visitors from Norway established an early advantage when Ronja Foss Arnesen found the back of the net. Vålerenga maintained a strong grip on the opening phase of the game, applying steady pressure on the Feyenoord defense.
As the first half progressed, however, Feyenoord steadily wrestled back control of the tempo and territory. Right before the halftime whistle, that persistence paid off. The midfielder launched a brilliant effort from over twenty meters out that flew straight into the top corner, sending Varkenoord into a frenzy and stretching the lead to 3-1.
Feyenoord refused to sit on their advantage and kept pushing for further breathing room. In the dying stages of the match, Fleur Stoit capitalized on a late opening to net the fourth goal, sealing a comprehensive 4-1 win and cementing a commanding aggregate cushion.
