Prescott Surpasses Tony Romo in Franchise History
Entering the matchup with a flawless 7-0 home record against Washington, Prescott extended his personal dominance over the division rivals while capturing a major franchise milestone. With his four touchdown passes, the quarterback surpassed Tony Romo to become the all-time leader in passing touchdowns in Cowboys history, bringing his career total to 249 scores. Prescott also recorded the 79th multi-touchdown game of his career, matching another of Romo's franchise records.
The record-breaking night relied heavily on wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, who anchored the passing attack with 153 receiving yards and two touchdowns on multiple receptions.
