Voćin Winter Cup: First Tournament Kicks Off

In the sports hall of the Elementary School, organized by NK Voćin, the 1st Voćin Winter Cup in indoor soccer started today. On the first day of the tournament, teams from the U-11 category (2015 and younger), divided into two competition groups, took to the floor.

Group A featured NK Voćin 1, NK Mladost Bakić, NK Slatina, NK Gradina and NK Jedinstvo Donji Miholjac, while in Group B NK Voćin 2, NK Mladost Čačinci, NK Rezovac and NK Bilogora Špišić Bukovica played. The tournament took place in a sporting spirit, with great effort and commitment from all participants.

At the end of the competition in the U-11 category, first place was won by NK Voćin II, second place went to NK Jedinstvo Donji Miholjac, third place went to NK Voćin I, while fourth place was taken by the Rezovac team.

After the team awards, individual awards were also given. The best goalkeeper was Leo Jaković (NK Voćin), the best scorer was Borna Apari (NK Jedinstvo Donji Miholjac), while the award for the best player of the tournament went to Antonio Kecko (NK Voćin).

The Voćin Winter Cup continues tomorrow, when the competition in the U-13 category (2013 and younger) is scheduled.
