Bhagalpur, 6 February. In the league match of Bhagalpur A Division District Cricket League organized at the local Sandys Compound under the auspices of Bhagalpur District Cricket Association, United Cricket Club gave a strong performance and defeated Randhir Verma Cricket Club by 5 wickets.
Randhir Verma club limited to 162 runs
After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Randhir Verma Cricket Club team could score only 162 runs at the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated 35 overs. On behalf of the team, Saurav Kumar batted restrainedly and brilliantly and scored unbeaten 60 runs on 73 balls. Apart from him, Rajdhan Kumar contributed 24 runs and Ayush contributed 17 runs.
Shailendra Kumar performed impressively in bowling for United Cricket Club, taking 3 wickets for 24 runs in 6 overs. Bhanu Kumar took 3 wickets for 38 runs in 7 overs, while Vivek Kumar took 1 wicket for 18 runs in 5 overs.
Target achieved in 20.5 overs, explosive half-century from Aryan
Chasing the target of 163 runs, the United Cricket Club team batted aggressively and achieved the target by losing 5 wickets in 20.5 overs. Aryan Kumar Singh scored 52 runs in 29 balls in explosive style. Surya Raghuvanshi made a useful contribution of 37 runs, Mayank Chaudhary made 25 runs and Bhanu Kumar made a useful contribution of 22 runs.
In bowling for Randhir Verma Cricket Club, Tejashwi Rajeev Kumar took 2 wickets, while Aditya Raj, Mohammad Shoaib and Shiv Awasthi got 1 wicket each.

Bhanu Kumar of United Cricket Club was declared player of the match for his excellent all-round performance. Anil Gupta and Narendra Kumar played the responsibility of umpiring in the match.
