Thomas Geyens: Arlon’s Top Tennis Player

C30.6 at 16 years old, almost B-15 in spring

Thomas started competing near the age of 17, starting at the bottom of the ladder. Since then he has had one success after another. Give or take a few points, he is already almost certain to obtain a B-15 ranking in the next ranking. The Marche and Arlon tournaments in the coming weeks come at just the right time. “I have the opportunity to train three times a week. I dream of building B-15.1 in the future, but that would pose a problem for me. Men’s tennis 2 and the incredible atmosphere of tournaments in the region would escape me. The user-friendliness aspect also counts enormously.

A final in Attert as a good memory

TC Val d’Attert is his second home, his favorite club.

Since my childhood, I have hit tens of thousands of balls with my friend Louis Didier, who is also my neighbor and the one with whom I share my apartment in Louvain-la-Neuve. The final that I played there against Mathieu Lion will remain forever engraved in my memory. The members of the club, my family, my friends were numerous around the field to encourage me. Unforgettable. This little club is really nice.
