Kansas City repeated a similar strategy in 2015. Gore was called up in September, played nine regular-season games and was part of the roster in the Division Series and the Championship Series. Although he did not make the final roster for the World Series against the New York Mets, he received the championship ring after the Royals’ consecration.
Throughout his career, Gore wore the uniform of four organizations in the Major Leagues and obtained three World Series rings: with the Royals in 2015, with the Dodgers in 2020 and with the Braves in 2021. In addition, he played for the New York Mets, Chicago Cubs and New York Yankees, almost always serving as a situational piece, valued for his speed and ability to change games from baserunning.
