A road accident occurred yesterday evening along State Road 106, in the stretch between kilometer 242, in the locality of Poggio Pudano. The alarm went off shortly after 9.15pm.
The Fire Brigade of the Crotone Provincial Command intervened on site and ensured the safety of the vehicles involved and the area affected by the accident. The operations were carried out in collaboration with the Traffic Police, involved in managing roads and regulating traffic.
Three people were injured, entrusted to the care of 118 healthcare personnel, who provided first aid on site before being transferred to the competent healthcare facilities.
During the intervention of the emergency vehicles, traffic along the SS 106 recorded temporary slowdowns, necessary to allow the operations to be carried out in safe conditions.
