One and a half years after his departure from FC Bayern, Bouna Sarr has found a new club. After FT-Information, the 34-year-old has signed a contract with FC Metz until the end of the season. The Senegalese had been keeping fit with the French first division club since the autumn.

Sarr is returning to his youth club, from which he moved to Olympique Marseille eleven years ago. His time at FC Bayern has been marked by injuries since 2020. Sarr was also fit but no reinforcement. Now he should help Metz in the relegation battle.
