Wegreenit Urania Milano wins by passing at Roseto degli Abruzzi 62-76, also overturning the -12 suffered in the first leg. The Wildcats take control of the match with clarity and intensity, led by Gentile, Morse and Lupusor. For Roseto, Laquintana’s energy and Cannon’s solidity are not enough and he relies on the Robinson-Cannon duo, while Milan responds with the initiatives of Gentile and Taylor. Cavallero’s triple puts Urania ahead, but it is the former Landi who scores the 18-16 which closes the first quarter.
Liofilchem tries to make the first push in the match. The challenge becomes increasingly physical and Milan takes advantage of the favorable moment. Another burst from Lupusor sends Urania to the break at 32-43.
In the second half Milan attempted the decisive attack. Roseto tries to hang on to the game with the pride of Laquintana. Gentile restores order and leads three consecutive counterattacks which are worth +18, 44-62. Liofilchem doesn’t give up and brings their team back to -13, 51-64.
Robinson and Cannon attempt the final comeback, 54-66, but Sabatini scores a heavy basket that pushes the Abruzzo team back. A protest from the public briefly interrupts the match, but in the confusing final Urania remains clear and closes the score at 62-76.
