Cristiano Ronaldo could leave Al Nassr in June this year. According to the sports newspaper Record, the striker is unhappy at Al Nassr and MLS (United States) and a return to Europe are considered possible destinations. CR7 has a release clause of 50 million euros.
Also according to Record, Cristiano Ronaldo is unhappy with the treatment given to Al Nassr by the Saudi Sovereign Fund (PIF), the state organization that bought the majority of the capital of the country’s four main clubs in 2023: Al Nassr, Al Hilal, Al Ittihad and Al Ahli.
The Al Nassr captain feels that the PIF is holding back signings at Al Nassr to prevent the team from winning the title and that he deserved other respect, taking into account the decisive role he played in boosting Saudi football and in its projection to a level never achieved before. Furthermore, he agreed to be an ambassador for the 2034 World Cup that will take place in Saudi Arabia to give greater visibility to the competition.
