The former Swedish NHL goaltender Robin Lehner and Donya Lehner are divorcing.
The Stockholm District Court has upheld the judgment on divorce.

NHL-winning hockey goaltender Robin Lehner and wife Donya Lehner were married in 2014.
After twelve years of marriage, Donya Lehner chose to file for divorce at the Stockholm District Court.
The district court upheld the divorce judgment on Tuesday.
The couple has two children together.
Robin Lehner has previously talked about his wife Donya’s support during his fight against addiction and mental illness.
In connection with Robin Lehner being awarded the Golden Puck by Expressen in 2019, the goalkeeper said that he took help from a rehabilitation clinic.
– I medicated myself with alcohol for a long time. Now, with the help of the doctors, I have received the right medication, he said then.
Went into personal bankruptcy
In the 2022 season, he played his last NHL game – then for the Vegas Golden Knights. A hip operation kept Robin Lehner out of action then.

In the same year, Robin Lehner struggled with financial problems. He stepped in as a surety in a company that later went bankrupt in Sweden, whereupon Lehner took over a multi-million dollar debt. In the same vein, Lehner filed for bankruptcy at home in the United States.
Several media drew attention to the fact that Robin Lehner ended up in a financial dispute over SEK 40 million after the purchase of an exotic snake farm. At the same time, his wife Donya lost both the luxury villa in Las Vegas and large quantities of exclusive goods.
Broke the silence after two years
At the end of November 2024, Expressen could tell that he had made himself untraceable in his bankruptcy case in Nevada. The law firm decided to break the process with Lehner – as he could not be reached.
Later that year, Lehner broke his silence in the Las Vegas Review-Journal newspaper.
– In the future, people will find out what actually happened, he said then.
