tvOnenews.com – Shocking news came from Persib Bandung after they registered the legendary goalkeeper who retired several seasons ago.
This happened not long after Persib Bandung decided not to register their foreign goalkeeper Adam Przybek because the foreigner quota in the Super League had been fulfilled.
The mid-season transfer window officially closed on Friday (6/2). A number of teams have been studying players ahead of the start of the second round of the 2025/2026 Super League.
Persib Bandung, which is at the top of the standings, has brought in four new players, namely Dion Markx, Layvin Kurzawa, Dedi Kusnandar and Sergio Castel.
Sergio Castel was the last name brought in by Maung Bandung. He is the fourth striker registered by coach Bojan Hodak.
The arrival of Sergio Castel meant that Persib Bandung’s foreign quota actually exceeded the regulations set by Ileague as the league operator, namely 12 players.
Therefore, Persib Bandung automatically had to drop one more player. Goalkeeper Adam Przybek has certainly not been included in the Super League squad for the remainder of this season.
However, coach Bojan Hodak confirmed that Adam Przybek will be available for Persib Bandung and can play in the ACL Elite Two.
On the other hand, the removal of Adam Przybek left the Persib Bandung goalkeeper in the second round of the Super League with one empty spot.
So far, the only goalkeepers registered by Persib Bandung on the Ileague site are Teja Paku Alam, Muhammad Rhaka Syafaka and Fitrah Maulana.
However, Bobotoh suddenly caused an uproar when their legend I Made Wirawan was listed as the goalkeeper for Persib Bandung in the second round of the Super League.

Bobotoh is clearly confused because I Made Wirawan currently serves as assistant goalkeeper coach for Persib Bandung. He has even retired since the 2022/2023 season.
