Pont-Saint-Esprit: Clos Bon-Aure Sports Complex LED Upgrade

The Clos Bon-Aure sports complex now benefits from new LED lighting, a solution that is both more economical and more environmentally friendly than traditional lighting.

In the amount of 70 000 eurosthe work concerned several sectors: Clos Bon-Aure, part of the rue du 8 Mai 1945located in front of the Bir-Hakeim car park, as well as the Bir-Hakeim car park. Inside the sports complex, 90% of the lighting has been renewed.

This modernization aims to improve the quality of lighting while reducing energy consumption. For Jérôme Carminati, deputy for works, city cleanliness, buildings, roads and agriculture, “ the new latest generation LED lighting at Clos Bon-Aure offers perfect visibility for your sporting events, while reducing cost and environmental impact ».

Same observation from Stéphane Vauquoy, deputy for associative and sporting life, who emphasizes that “ our sports facilities are being modernized to offer a quality welcome to users, while saving energy and reducing public expenditure – in the long term – linked to lighting ».

The next stages of this modernization program will concern Hector Maison stadium lighting, top tennis courts as well as of the athletics track.
