‘Korean women’s tennis ace’ Park So-hyun (Gangwon Provincial Office, world ranking 265th) signed a sponsorship contract with Mercedes-Benz Korea.

According to this contract, Park So-hyun will receive support for Mercedes-Benz’s semi-large SUV ‘GLE 450 4MATIC’ for the entire year of 2026. ‘GLE 450 4MATIC’ is a model that provides stable driving performance and comfort even on long distances and in various road environments, and will be a reliable companion for Park So-hyun’s various schedules during the season. In addition, Sohyun Park continues to collaborate in various areas, including participation in offline events hosted by Mercedes-Benz Korea, SNS promotional activities, and brand-related competitions and events.

Park So-hyun, who showed her potential by standing out early on as a junior, has established herself as a player representing domestic women’s tennis by winning a total of nine times in the International Women’s Tennis Tournament, including three wins in the 2025 season. He was selected as a member of the national team in 2021 and grew into a key member of the national team while gaining experience on the international stage, and is currently playing an active role as a key player leading the team.

In addition, Park So-hyun is expanding her presence on and off the court by conveying her own style and message in various areas such as fashion, beauty, and interviews, as well as outstanding performance. This aspect is also in line with Mercedes-Benz’s goals, such as passion, constant striving for perfection, and spirit of challenge.

Park So-hyun said, “I am very honored and grateful to be with Mercedes-Benz Korea for the new season. It is even more meaningful as Mercedes-Benz has been participating as an official sponsor of the WTA starting this year. I will repay your support with good results.”

Lee Sang-guk, executive vice president of Mercedes-Benz Korea’s digital, marketing and communications division, said, “Mercedes-Benz has made tennis a key axis of global sports sponsorship, including signing a long-term sponsorship with the WTA this year. As an extension of this global strategy, we are very happy to accompany So-Hyun Park, who represents Korean tennis,” and added, “We will actively support So-Hyun Park so that she can perform at her best as she challenges the world stage.”

Meanwhile, Mercedes-Benz signed a long-term sponsorship contract with the WTA in 2026, newly participating as a premier partner and exclusive automotive partner. We plan to expand our brand presence across WTA 1000, 500, and 250 level competitions and present differentiated experiences for players, customers, and fans.
