The tournament final is scheduled for September 11 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
Preparation for the New York major included a recent appearance at the Cincinnati Open on August 17. In that opening match—their first competitive outing as a pair since the 2022 US Open—the Americans fell to Marta Kostyuk and Peyton Stearns in a tight contest ending 6-2, 1-6, 10-8, nearly completing a comeback after facing a six-point deficit in the decisive tiebreak. Following the match, Venus Williams noted that finding their way back to the court together took time, reflecting on their enduring partnership.
