He had previously spoken at the Sanremo Festival with the statement “Stop the genocide!” (related to the Gaza conflict) caused a stir.
But now he’s just singing a song against the war. They are verses from “Promemoria” by Gianni Rodari – a great Italian poet, which Ghali recites in Italian, French and English.
