Occitania Badminton: Marvejols Hosts Regional Championship

The Occitanie Badminton League, in collaboration with the Badminton Club de la Bête du Gévaudan, is organizing the Regional youth championship Saturday February 7 and Sunday February 8.

Marvejols will be, for a weekend, the capital regional youth badminton. This competition will bring together many young people badists came from all over Occitania, representing different departmental committees. From the chicks to juniors category, the best regional prospects will compete to win the regional titles.

A competition at strong sporting challengesince the regional champion titles will be awarded in singles, doubles and mixed doubles. At the end of the qualifying phases, the best players will advance to the finals, the real highlights of the weekend. For some, the stakes will be high, with the key a ticket for the qualifying phase of the French Championships, which will take place at the end of April in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés (Val-de-Marne).

Practical information:

Location: Marceau-Crespin sports complex, chemin du Ranquet, in Marvejols.
Saturday: matches start at 9 a.m., men’s singles (SH) and women’s singles (SD).
Sunday: resume at 8 a.m. with men’s doubles (DH) and women’s doubles (DD); mixed doubles start around 2 p.m.

Delivery of prizes and titles:
Saturday from 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.;
Sunday from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., then from 5 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
