Nicolás Frutos seems to be on the verge of becoming the new sporting director of Sporting de Charleroi.
In the show The Tribune this Monday, the information was confirmed. The Argentine seems more than ever to be heading towards a departure from RAAL La Louvière, where he is director of football, to join neighbor Sporting de Charleroi.
Frédéric Waseige is surprised by this information: “He’s someone with lots of good ideas, it’s a bit surprising since we thought it was going well at La Louvière. It’s a good pick, the future will tell us if he will be able to work as he wishes in Charleroi.”
For some time, Mehdi Bayat has been thinking about the idea of integrating a new strong man, capable of making decisions at Sporting de Charleroi. The Franco-Iranian remains perceived as the true conductor of the club.
Sporting de Charleroi currently does not have a sports director. Nicolás Frutos therefore seems on track to take on this very important role.
