From the player’s point of view, I would think carefully about whether Bayern is the right move. Davies is 25 and absolutely ready when he’s fit. Sure, he needs his breaks sometimes, he has his aches and pains, but I wouldn’t hope to be built up behind Fonzi.
Things could look different in Leverkusen. The outgoing Grimaldo is likely to be replaced by a similarly mature player who could be expected to be more likely to build/develop.
