At RB Leipzig will have a change in goal in the summer: Péter Gulácsi will have his contract announced BILD-Extend information until 2027, but give up its number one status.
In the future, Maarten Vandevoordt will take on the role of starting goalkeeper. According to the report, the 23-year-old is also extending his contract – his contract now runs until 2030. Gulácsi will remain with the club, but should take on a different role in the team and act as an experienced backup in the future.
The hierarchy behind it has also been clarified: Leopold Zingerle has extended his contract until 2028 and remains scheduled as number three. Internally, the discussions were conducted openly. Every keeper knows his role in the future three-man team.
