Figure skating and short track will be represented for the sixth time, but the least number of sports that have gone to the Olympic Games from Latvia are Nordic doubles (twice) and freestyle skiing (once). There are also sports or disciplines in which Latvia has not yet been represented – for example, women’s ice hockey, curling, snowboarding and mountain climbing skiing.
