French international N’Golo Kanté was transferred from Al-Ittihad to Fenerbahçe this Tuesday evening. A few hours earlier, the Turkish club had announced that Kanté’s arrival had fallen through because of the Saudi club.
But President Erdogan, who was flying at the same time on Tuesday to Saudi Arabia for a meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, used his influence.
