The Oviedo Badminton Club begins its participation this Sunday in the National League of Second Territorial Clubs 2025-2026 with two teams in competition, Oviedo C and Oviedo D. The first round takes place at the Castropol Sports Center, starting at 9:00 a.m., with four matches scheduled for each team throughout the day. At the start of the competition, Oviedo D faces Bodega Ancho Astures, while Oviedo C opens the league against Bádminton Torrelavega. In the second round, Oviedo C faces Bádminton Occidente and Oviedo D plays its match against Bádminton Club Coruña-Oleiros. The third series of matches pairs Oviedo C with Athlos B and Oviedo D with CB Cíes. The day closes with the confrontation between Oviedo C and Oviedo D, the last match of the first round. The Oviedo C squad has Adrián Turrado, Carlos Labrador, Darío Is, Hugo Hidalgo, Izan Martínez, Mark Kravchyshyn, Mateo de Vicente, Pablo Serrano, Pedro Torre and Pelayo Rodríguez, along with Alma Álvarez, Claudia Fernández, Daniela Marqués, Vega González and Xandra Granda. For its part, Oviedo D has Adrián Álvarez, Álvaro Murias, Benjamín Pérez, Daniel Álvarez, David Pérez, Javier Soto and Pelayo Iglesias, as well as Ana Isabel Fernández, Blanca Prada, Lucía Álvarez, María Sanz and Paloma Río.
