SINT-MICHIELSGEstel – The badminton competition of the first half of the season is already over. From September to December 2025, there was again a battle for first place, in the main class up to and including the 8th class, in the Bossche Badminton Federation (BBF). This also applies to BCG 2 from Sint-Michielsgestel in the second class.
The team consists of Ad van Schijndel, Cindy van Schijndel, Dave van der Weide, Iris de Laat – van Baar, Wendy Timmermans, Dennis Ubben and Corine Vermeulen. The competition was exciting, it was tied with BC Argus from Heeswijk-Dinther and it would be the last match. 13 points for BC Argus against 12 points for BCG 2, and they still had to play against each other! BCG 2 had to win, while BC Argus only needed a draw. In the end, things went well for BCG 2 and they deservedly won 11-5, making promotion to the first division a fact.
