Japanese Sweeper’s Apology Goes Viral | Aktuálně.cz

Team Osaka Bulteon’s gesture immediately went viral on social media.

The lanky, 187-centimeter-tall sweeper accidentally hit one of the organizers who was courtside during a skills competition as part of the Japan SV League All-Star Game.

When he hit the woman, he immediately sprung into action. He ran across the court and ran the last meters on his belly. He then knelt down and continued bowing, which the woman returned. According to the footage, she took the situation in stride, jokingly pretending to be injured and laughing as Nishida returned to the court.

The video with the unprecedented apology of the 26-year-old volleyball player collected over 8.5 million views on the X network in less than 24 hours.
