However, the Grizzlies, strengthened by the many assets already accumulated, have set a line that cannot be crossed: they wouldn’t accept any offer without at least a first-round pick in it. Maybe some team has even put it on the table (even if the indications coming from NBA market insiders suggest not), but given Morant’s stay we know for sure that no offer was able to convince Memphis to give up the number 12who will therefore have to continue to live “separated at home” at least until the end of this season.
