The Huesca City Council opens today the call for aid for city sports teams that participate in top-level national competitions in the 2025-2026 season.
The amount allocated by the Huesca City Council for aid to top-class teams amounts to 173,000 euros, from the budget application for the year 2026,
The purpose of this open competitive call for applications is partially subsidize the expenses of sports teams in top-level national competitions in the year 2026, or 2025-2026 season.
In any case, the sports modality must be from a sports federation recognized by the CSD.
The application period begins this Friday the 6th and ends on February 16, 2026; The justification period will be until October 30, 2026.
The aid is aimed at Huesca sports teams of an Olympic specialty with regular competition in league format or through meetings that bring together several clubs, who play in the highest absolute national category of their modality or, if that highest category is a professional league approved by the CSD and its corresponding federation, they play in the immediately lower one.
Teams that, having met the category requirements for at least five years, have been relegated in category may apply for aid. In this case they will only be able to request it during the four years following the relegation. and the aid will be reduced progressively with respect to the score that corresponds to them. An entity cannot present more than one men’s or women’s team.
Eligible expenses They will be those directly related to each of the teams for which the subsidy is requested. Transportation, facilities, material, advertising, federation expenses, judges, supplies, personnel or maintenance costs.
In the last call, with a total amount of 157,000 euros, Balonmano Huesca received 87,013 euros; CB Peñas, 46,987 and CA Zoiti, 23,000. This year Badminton Huesca could join, as a Division of Honor team. It must be remembered that there are other calls for teams at other levels and also for organizing events.
