Start of Riera: “First win a lot”
When he landed in Frankfurt, Albert Riera, Eintracht’s new coach, looked straight ahead. “First we have to win a lot,” said the 43-year-old in a video that the SGE posted on social media. With a view to a possible successful remainder of the second half of the season, he added with a smile: “Then we can fly to Mallorca.” Riera had already explained in an interview with the Bild newspaper what was important now: “The first meeting is not about tactics. It’s about the people, the group, discipline, rules. Looking each other in the eye, trusting each other. It’s important to trust the players.”
