The Block reported that cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com (CRO) is launching a prediction market platform ‘OG’. This launch comes amid growing demand for event-based transactions ahead of the Super Bowl (the finals of the National Football League). Initially, the service will be launched in the United States, and users will be able to trade contracts related to events in the economic, political, cultural, and entertainment fields. OG will be operated by Crypto.com’s derivatives subsidiary registered with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
