BRATISLAVA – Spadla z oblakov is a series that the public STV brought to its screens in 1978. And at that time it was a huge success. Mother from Gurun, played by Zuzana Pravňanská, became a big star. However, 48 long years have passed since then… This is what the actress looks like today and this is what she does!
Majka from Gurun became a cult figure on the television scene in the 1970s. A mysterious girl from outer space with extraordinary abilities has been admired by generations of children and many of them aspire to be like her. The main character in the 13-part series Fell from the Clouds was played by 9-year-old Zuzana Pravňanská… But despite the extraordinary success of the act, she did not pursue acting anymore.
And her life took a dark turn – she didn’t finish high school, she was raped when she was 14, her husband abused her, she fell into alcoholism and she lost her children. Although she fell to the bottom, she managed to get back on her feet over time. Today she is happy again with her new boyfriend and her 5 grandchildren make her happy. She revealed it in the Medzi nami show with Kata Martinková.

Where she also revealed what she does for a living today. She used to work as a tram driver. “I dreamed that I wanted to be a tram driver and it came true. I did it for seven years, it was very mentally demanding. Sometimes you get up at half past one, sometimes at half past two – we worked for 11-12 hours. Then I had to quit for health reasons. And I parked in a butcher’s shop,” admitted.
And she revealed that people still recognize her. “Yes, because I work in the place where I used to live. I am mainly recognized by my classmates from elementary school who go to the butcher shop,” she admitted that she is currently satisfied with her life. “I’m the happiest person under the sun – with my partner and our cat,” added.
