Cédric Asselin Wins Silver | [Event Name] Results

SPORTS. A member of the 2948 Sainte-Justine Cadet Corps, Cédric Asselin distinguished himself by winning a silver medal during the 47e edition of the Chaudière-Appalaches Cadet Games held on January 24 at the Polyvalente de Saint-Georges. In total, more than 280 cadets competed for top honors in different sporting disciplines.

Registered for the badminton competition, Cédic Asselin finished second behind Noam Trabelsi from the Saint-Georges Cadet Corps and ahead of Lucas Bolanger from Thetford Mines 775 Squadron.

Throughout the day, eleven corps and squadrons of cadets competed in four different disciplines: kinball, volleyball, soccer and badminton.

Note that the Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps 2787 from Saint-Zacharie won the sportsmanship trophy. It was the Saint-Georges Cadet Corps which was declared champion of the day, having finished first in the points ranking.
