Brandenburg: Excitement Builds

Our Special Olympics State Games 2025, which were organized by our state association Special Olympics Brandenburg in cooperation with Special Olympics Berlin, laid a central foundation for participation. As the largest inclusive sporting event in the state, they offered athletes and unified partners from all over Brandenburg an important stage to compete at the state level, achieve personal bests and gain valuable competition experience. The state games in Potsdam and Berlin were also a recognition competition on the way to the national games. Many used the competitions to qualify for participation in Saarland.

A total of 159 athletes, 14 unified partners and their coaches will represent their home state of Brandenburg in a worthy manner this summer. Together with other athletes from all over Germany, you will celebrate sporting successes in the sports of boccia, bowling, football, hockey, canoeing, athletics, rowing, swimming and table tennis and make lived inclusion visible.

The anticipation is growing – because the state of Brandenburg is represented with more great athletes and their mostly volunteer companions than ever before!
