Bourbon-Lancy Archery: Gueugnon Champions

Sunday took place in Gueugnon the departmental youth indoor archery championship. Two U15 archers from Bourbon-Lancy were selected: Mathylde Vigier and Caroline Bernardin Vadrot.

After a classic competition in the morning and elimination duels in the afternoon, hopes rested on Mathylde who arrived at the top of the podium for 3e consecutive times and Caroline who obtained a convincing 2e place.

“I am filled with great joy,” confides enthusiastic Monique Barbé, president of the Archers Bourbonniens. Our club is very proud of its young archers because these results crown hours of regular training, and the reward is there. »

These two young girls will participate on February 7 in the Burgundy-Franche-Comté regional championship in Auxonne (21).
