The First Arc Company of Cahors organized a qualifying competition for the regional youth and adult championships. 150 archers from across the region took part.
There were 150 of them gathered this weekend in the beautiful room of the Cabessut complex in Cahors (Lot). 150 archers came to participate in one of the last qualifying competitions for the regional youth and adult championships, organized by the Première company d’arc de Cahors. There were several starts of this competition (Saturday January 24 in the evening, Sunday January 25 in the morning or in the afternoon) in the beautiful hall of the Cabessut complex.
Two Cadurciennes detained
Two young Cadurciennes, among those present, won their pass for the regional championships which will take place in Auch (Gers) on February 7 and 8. Adults still have one weekend to obtain or consolidate their qualification to go to Lunel or Perpignan on February 14 and 15.
This competition was open to para-archers. Three responded: Daniel Dutrain from Beaumont-de-Lomagne, Laurent Fournier from Carcassonne, and Mickaël Véril from Cahors for his first competition.
This weekend took place in a good atmosphere with archers mostly happy with these days. The club thanked the volunteers and services of the city who made this success possible, and is looking forward to meeting outdoors for the month of June.
