Borja, who attended with a direct place for the Spanish Cups awarded by the Spanish Federation, had a magnificent championship.
The one from Urnieta, after winning his first two rounds by Ippon (highest score), faced Nikita Yudanov (world champion and several-time European medalist) in the semifinals. Borja, although he stood up to him, fell before him.
After losing in the semifinals, he faced the Madrid representative and, after a close confrontation, Borja won the victory and therefore obtained bronze in the less than 100 kilos category.
At the end of February, Borja will compete in the Junior European Cup in Madrid, where he has his aspirations set.
