Black Ops 7 & FF7 Remake: US Game Sales – January 2024

Circana has unveiled the ranking of the best-selling games in the United States during the month of January. In first place we find ourselves Call of Duty: Black Ops 7firmly at the top since its launch last November, while NBA 2K26 once again confirms itself in second position. Closing the podium is another great classic of American sport, Madden NFL 26.

Thanks to the very slow pace of releases typical of the beginning of the year, the ranking features very few novelty. Indeed, there is only one: Code Vein 2, which debuts in eleventh place in the general ranking and first in the PC ranking.

Fallout 4 returns to the top 20 after more than 10 years after launch

However, there is no shortage of flashbacks: thanks to the debut on Switch 2 and Xbox, Final Fantasy 7 Remake rose from 225th to ninth place. The 2020 RPG also places second in the Switch ranking, immediately behind Pokémon Legends: Z‑A, and seventh in the Xbox ranking. Fallout 4 is also back in the top 20 more than ten years after its launch, clearly driven by the enormous success of the Prime Video series.
