Archery Evaluation & Content Writing

MEXICALI, Baja California.- With the objective of seeking excellence in archery for Baja California, an Internal Control was carried out with 85 archers from the state.

At the Ciudad Deportiva archery field, sporting talents took over the INDE premises in the capital, with compound bow specialists being the first to take action.

“INDE and the Association, what we are looking for is the excellence of these boys heading to the Olympics,” said Erik Reveles, president of Arquería BC.

“This event,” he added, “is to seek a warm-up prior to the second State Control, which will be on February 21, where a state archery selection would be defined.”

During the morning session, in compound bow, the talents were led by the world and Pan American medalist Adriana Castillo, who also seeks to return to the Senior National Team in 2026.

In the archery evaluation, the recurve bow specialists came into action in the afternoon, in a group in which Francisco Octavio Padilla stood out, another talent from Baja California who will seek to remain in the Senior National Team.

According to the plan, next Saturday, February 21, the Second State Qualifier will be held in the state capital, in which the Baja California team that will compete in the 2026 National Olympiad will be defined.
