An encounter rated “Risk 3”. Possible stoppage for the Lazio players for the match against Lecce at the Via del Mare stadium scheduled for 8.45pm next Saturday 24 January. Just last January 6, on the occasion of the match played in Lecce between the Salento team and As Roma, a ban was placed on the sale of the away sector to fans resident in Lazio, with the issuing of around 350 tickets reserved for fans resident in other Italian regions.
Lecce-Rome prohibited for residents of Lazio
In that case the prefecture of Lecce had accepted the request of the analysis committee for the safety of sporting events. The basis for the ban is the tense relationship between the two fans, which resulted in some scuffles on March 29th at the end of which three Giallorossi fans were subjected to Daspo, with one from Lecce arrested and a fourth Roma fan reported.

As stated in determination number 01 of 5 January 2026 drawn up by the National Observatory on sporting events: “For the Serie A football match “Lecce – Lazio”, scheduled for 24 January 2026, already assessed as Risk 3 Sector only – Loyalty members only, the Observatory suspends the judgment pending the results of further information activity by the Lecce Police Headquarters; at the same time, until decisions are taken in merit, the competent League is invited to involve the organizing company so that the sale of coupons does not start and membership in the loyalty programs remains temporarily suspended”.
