Longtime star Therese Johaug has had her second child.

This was revealed by the presenter during the Norwegian sports gala.

37-year-old Therese Johaug has again put her skis on the shelf after last year’s comeback.

Then with the sights set on gold in the five mile at the WC in Trondheim. Johaug had to settle for bronze after being sprinted down by Frida Karlsson.

For her efforts, she was nominated for the award as female athlete of the year at the Norwegian sports gala, which was won by rifle shooter Jeanette Hegg Duestad.

She also received the gala’s honorary award together with biathlete Johannes Thingnes Bö.

The video greeting from the hospital

A pregnant and moved Johaug sent a video greeting from the hospital.

– I would have liked to have been at Hamar, but I am in the hospital, full of hormones and ready to give birth. I place great value on this award. Thank you, said Johaug.

Afterwards, presenter Mia Hundvin revealed that the 37-year-old had a son.

– Little Nils is born, said Hundvin.

Therese Johaug already has a daughter Kristin with her husband Nils Jakob Hoff.
