Urbania Red & White Celebration: Warm Welcome!

I know it View wants to aim to return to being the lighthouse of the region with regards to basketballgiven that to date it has remained the only basketball expression in Serie A, it must return to visiting the hinterland more to broaden its audience base. In reality the club has always done this over the years and for this very reason, despite playing on the ground floor, it must cultivate the new generations who have not seen the Scavolini team play for the championships, but not even the team that was still playing in the Euroleague in the early 2000s. In short, for those who were born and raised after 2005 – when the club went bankrupt starting from Serie B, then returning to the top flight until relegation in 2024 – the heroes are those of the present and must be made known, even more so now that the red and white team is sailing in first place, with legitimate ambitions of being able to return to Serie A. The relationship with the territory is therefore fundamental for the Victoria Libertas Pesaro who believes a lot in the connection with the companies of the province, and beyond.

A few hours before Christmas, large participation in Urbania for an afternoon in the company of some red and white players: captain Lorenzo Bucarellithe emerging Alessandro Bertini and the baby loved by kids, Stefano Trucchetti, accompanied by the Sports Director Nicola Egidio. Matteo Magi, operations director of Vuelle, explains how the initiative developed: “We were guests of the Pallacanestro Urbania of president Tiziana Catani, a company with which we have collaborated for many years. We ‘took to the field’ in the sports hall renovated a few months ago for the benefit of the Durantine community. Not even Santa Claus was missing and delivered many gifts for all the children of the youth sector of the Pallacanestro Urbania. We also thank our great friend and supporter Claudio Valentini for the excellent organization of the evening, which allowed us to strengthen the relationship with the local clubs to make Vuelle increasingly the basketball reference point on a provincial but also regional level”.
