The assistant coach of the French XV in charge of conquest and specific tasks returned, this Wednesday in Marcoussis, to the brutal end of his career which struck the pillar of La Rochelle and the Blues.

The right pillar of La Rochelle and the XV of France, Uini Atonio, “will not be able to continue his playing career” after being hospitalized on Tuesday for a heart attack, his club, Stade Rochelais, announced on Wednesday. The 35-year-old player with 68 caps, part of Fabien Galthié, was admitted yesterday to the La Rochelle hospital center following a suspected heart problem.
Medical examinations confirmed a cardiac event. “His condition is now stable and he remains, under surveillance, in intensive care”writes the club to the caravel. “We manage players but we also manage men and Uini is a magnificent person who really mattered. Both as a player but as a man in the group”reacted this Wednesday to Marcoussis William Servat, the assistant coach of the Blues in charge of the forwards, after collective training.
